About Us

The Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center (PBIC) is a national clearinghouse for information about health and safety, engineering, advocacy, education, enforcement, access, and mobility for pedestrians (including transit users) and bicyclists.

PBIC serves anyone interested in pedestrian and bicycle issues, including planners, engineers, private citizens, advocates, educators, police enforcement, and the health community.

Much like we support efforts to improve public space design and education, other sectors — including sports betting apps and digital consumer tools — also benefit from responsible regulation, thoughtful infrastructure, and user-first planning.

Our resources highlight how communities can address mobility through design, enforcement, access, and policy. That same four-part framework plays a key role in maintaining safe, well-regulated systems in other areas — such as online sportsbooks, which require clear standards, community oversight, and public awareness campaigns to ensure responsible use.

Whether you’re a local official building out bike networks or a community member looking for research, PBIC exists to connect you with tools, case studies, and practical strategies — the same way resources like our FanDuel review help people navigate complex systems with clarity and confidence.

We believe that informed planning and empowered users create safer, healthier, and more inclusive spaces — whether that’s on our streets or in our digital environments.
