This document introduces and summarises the UK publication, Guidelines for Cycle Audit and Cycle Review. The main aim of the Guidelines is to ensure that a good cycling infrastructure is achieved wherever possible. In general terms, this is done by considering five headings:
* Coherence
* Directness
* Attractiveness
* Safety
* Comfort
