Crash Type   Motorist turned left into passing bicyclist  --   1.2%

In this crash type, a motorist turning left hits a cyclist who is traveling straight ahead in the same direction as the motorist. Almost 80 percent of the cyclists are riding the wrong way against traffic and are hit in the second half of the roadway. Forty-two percent of cyclists are riding the wrong way against traffic on the sidewalk.
