There are a number of groups around the nation and abroad that are willing and able to help improve conditions for bicycling at the local and national level through advocacy efforts. One of the most influential and well-known bicycle advocacy groups is the League of American Bicyclists. The League provides support and information to state and local bicycle advocacy organizations, and can help you get in touch with local bike groups or other resources.
